I received the Hat-Shield Plus a short while ago.It has little tabs that keep the shield from slipping.Previously I used binder clips on the visor to keep the shield in place.I don't think I will have to do that with the new tabs.The sidewalls really impeded my face touching!Breathing with a mask and the shield was easy. There was no fogging with or without a mask.This is the best solution so far!

Posted 4-10-2020,Update regarding my hand to face interruptus...I tried "wrist flowers" and they worked but were a pain.Strong essences such as tea tree oil and eucalyptus oil didn't last long enough.Of smelling strategies, Repel brand insect repellent worked the best.It doesn't smell pleasant and it has a binder that lasts long. Strong essences that smelled nice drew me in instead.Hot sauce on my fingers was just too tasty.
The better methods I've found so far include: Using the Nelson Dellis' Sharpie strategy (see the video on this page)Scratching what itches with a handy hairbrush.Wearing a face mask.
The best method I've found so far is wearing a mask with a shield on top.I've experimented with the Hat-Shield.I'll be experimenting with the Hat-Shield Plus next. (I'm not related to them and make no profits from this).
When I'm driving, hanging onto the wheel for dear life works.

I am Hu, your guide.Just like you, for me an essential focus is the guidance of my child. To Thea, I am a Wolf Wizard, the navigator on her path to scientist and double fairydom.I am a dually licensed Behavioral Scientist, healthcare provider, and unaware face toucher. Previously I have been a disaster chaser and a consultant to an advisor to two real Presidents.Behavioral Scientist is cool, but face toucher is not, except under certain pre-approved situations. So, I’m trying to be a better Behavioral Scientist and find out how to stop touching my face.My focus is not about you touching your face, its about me touching my face.If I touch my face then get sick, I’ll potentially get somebody else sick too. Fortunately as we are online, that somebody is quite unlikely to be you. I’ve been trying to find out how to quit but there isn’t much on that.PubMed, WHO, and CDC say stop touching, but don’t say how. So here are Googles’ contributions:

Wear glasses.
Wear itchy gloves.
Touch something else.
Keep your hands busy.
Intercept with (out of stock!) tissue.
Use foul smelling nail polish or hand cream.
Trim your nails or use bad tasting nail polish so you don’t don’t bite them.
Spend a fortune on a wearable face touch stopper, complete with training...
Get a face scratcher to use when you itch.
Lace your fingers together.

The most viable suggestions I’ve seen are the Sharpie Memory Trick and using strong essential oils.The plan is to alert visual and olfactory memory just before my hand gets to my face. Although our course was not about coronavirus, it is now also about COVID-19. Because the pandemic is affecting all of our lives, especially our children. To that end, I'll update you on the successes of my hand to face hiatus.
